Armed Forces Day

The first UK Armed Forces Day took place on Saturday 27 June 2009. It is an annual day to celebrate the work of the Armed Forces community.

Armed Forces Day will be held annually in June, providing the nation with a dedicated day where people can come together to show their appreciation and support of the Armed Forces. The day will be an opportunity for everyone to join together to pay tribute to our Armed Forces, past, present and future.
